Hello everyone! Wow, Amazon saved my component stereo system! I wasn't quite ready to give up yet. I only found one retailer with stereo receivers, and they weren't right for me. My old Sony had a short and was the oldest of my components. A neighbor had mentioned Amazon for his flat screen, so I thought I would give it a chance. Great experience, and fast delivery. My old receiver was cutting out for many months, so the UPS truck was a welcome site! Today I was playing Christmas piano music. It sounded as though someone was playing in my living room. The old Bose book shelf speakers worked well in conjunction with my new receiver. Also great sound from the FM radio, video tapes, and DVD player. Yes I'm still on the cusp of the latest technology! I am very pleased with the sound quality out of these speakers, especially for the price. I have them hooked up to a receiver in my office so that I can occasionally watch a movie or listen to the radio. Sounds great and is much better than just the television speakers. I've been very happy with my setup so far:

Sansui g-7500, jvc ql-f4, bose 4.2 II bookshelf's, etc. etc. the point is, I wanted to get a bit more sound from my turn table so, the pa-7000 just happened to be the first item in the list that seemed to meet my minimum requirements.

I finally arrived and I put it into my system, not only am I able to route my cd changer, my tape deck, my digital media unit and my phono unit, but, I found the base/mid/treb controls unexpectedly very nice. I immediately began tuning to taste (Careful not to colour the music of course.)

I am more than pleased with this product. I received far more than I had expected and do believe if I would have made another purchase I would not be so pleased.

the sound quality is uneffected by the addition of the pa-7000, sans of course for the boost in volume and slightly more bass due to the equalizer. I would also point out not a single hiss, hum or whistle.

I'm using this amp to drive a pair of Polk M10s on my desk. For that purpose it works wonderfully. 15 watts/channel will get extremely loud, and I normally use it at around 1/3rd volume. I was greatly surprised at the effort we had to spend to get this receiver to function.
The instructions that come with it are confusing and tedious. They keep telling you to go to
another page to find how to hook something up. It has defaults that do not allow you to change some settings.
I had to ask for some help with this from a neighbor who does this for a living..... he was at my house for
4 hours trying to set this thing up. I would not recommend this to anyone who is not an electronic technician.
Very disappointed in this product. Company needs to get their act together with respect to their instructions. The remote

I was going to buy a used amp in a second hand shop and then I searched the internet and found this amazing little amp. Unlike another review I have read here on Amazon, this amp does not distort... It really kicks ass. It is small and yet has a significant weight, which shows that it is not just an empty box with not much in it. It is ruggedly built and drives a pair of JBLs beautifully.
So good in fact that I have mixed and mastered an album using this amp ([...] - A Series of Events by Buried Head).
I am a professional musician and know about sound quality. For the money, this amp rocks! It brings a smile to my face every time I switch it on.

I just got this in today.Got it hooked up.So far so good.I have it powering four Sony SS-B1000 5 1/8-Inch Bookshelf Speakers.Signal to input 2 is from my computer.Input 1 gets it's signal from my iPod.The signal switching works as advertised.As soon as i press play on my iPod it switches over instantly to input 1.Nice.

The A B speaker selector works as it should.Choose either set A or B. Or press both buttons at the same time to power all four speakers.In this configuration each one receives about 30watts rms.Plenty for my set up.Pretty loud and clear sitting in front the computer.lol.Sound is great also.

No comments on the auto shut off.I have it switched off and I just manually turn it off since its within arms reach.All in all im very happy with it so far.Good price.Good sound.Works like it should.
